Maces exist in two different categories, depending on the composure. There are maces wielded with two hands and maces wielded with one hand.
¶ Two handed maces
Two handed maces are heavy and have the highest raw damage in the game. What they make up for in damage they lack in critical hit, critical hit damage and bonuses. They usually handle well even with lower weapon skill, however they require massive strength to equip due to their massive weight. Two handed maces are often a popular choice among the orcs, trolls and other gladiators who just want to hit as hard as possible with minimum weapon skill and massive strength.
